September 25 (Wednesday), Mariheen Group (CEO Kim In-Deok) invited EIB (Elizabeth Image Branding) CEO Dr Elizabeth Hor to deliver a lecture on holistic image branding at HanSung University. The lecture was part of EIB’s global program and was led by Professor Lee Jeong-Min.

September 26 (Thursday), EIB and Mariheen Group officially signed an MOU in Jeonju to globalize Holistic Image and K-Beauty. The MOU aims to strengthen global cooperation through business exploration and cultural exchange.

September 27 (Friday), Dr Elizabeth Hor & Kim In-Deok visited KiJeon University to meet with Professor Kim Mo-Kyoung, head of the R4U Health Management Department. They discussed industry-university collaboration and the global growth of the beauty industry.

JeonJu, Korea and Penang, Malaysia, September 25, 2024 - From September 25 (Wednesday) to September 29 (Sunday), Mariheen Group (CEO Kim In-Deok) will host Elizabeth Image Branding (EIB), a leading ASEAN company, led by CEO Dr Elizabeth Hor, to discuss the global expansion of Holistic Image and K-Beauty and industry-academia cooperation. The two companies will officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Jeonju, JeonBuk State, to strengthen their strategic partnership for the global expansion of Holistic Image and K-Beauty.



As the first step of this cooperation, on September 25, EIB’s CEO Dr Elizabeth Hor will deliver a special lecture at HanSung University’s Beauty Design Management Department. This lecture will be based on EIB’s global holistic image branding program, focusing on personal branding and image mastery, offering students innovative branding methodologies. The session will be led by Professor Lee Jeong-Min, a pioneer in image branding and author of the textbook "Personal Image Branding". Kim In-Deok, CEO of Mariheen Group, emphasized the importance of the collaboration, stating, “Through this lecture, we aim to advance beauty industry education in Korea and ASEAN, while nurturing talents who can compete in the global market.”



On September 26, Mariheen Group and EIB will hold the official MOU signing ceremony. The MOU is centered on a joint project titled “Business Exploration and Cultural Exchange”, aiming to spread Holistic Image and K-Beauty worldwide by creating industrial and cultural synergies between the two countries.

Kim In-Deok, CEO of Mariheen Group, is expected to remark, “This MOU will mark a significant turning point for the global expansion of Holistic Image and K-Beauty. I look forward to working with EIB to explore new international markets and maximize customer satisfaction.”

On September 27, EIB CEO Dr Elizabeth Hor and Mariheen Group CEO Kim In-Deok will visit KiJeon University to meet Professor Kim Mo-Kyoung, Head of the R4U Health Management Department, to discuss industry-academia collaboration. Professor Kim, recognized for his outstanding achievements in the LINC 3.0 Industry-University Cooperation Program, will provide valuable insights on the global growth and cooperation of the beauty industry.

Kim In-Deok, CEO of Mariheen Group, is expected to say, “It was an honor to discuss ways to strengthen industry-academia collaboration through Professor Kim’s expertise. We will continue to contribute to the development of the beauty industry both in Korea and internationally.”

EIB CEO Dr Elizabeth Hor will add, “This visit marks an important moment to expand opportunities for collaboration between Korea and the global beauty industry. I look forward to future joint projects.”



Finally, on September 28 and 29, participants will explore the Jeolla Gamyeong Road and Hanok Village, experiencing traditional Korean cultural activities such as wearing traditional Hanbok, making Kimchi, and experiencing K-Wedding makeup, hair, and dresses. These activities will serve as a platform for networking with relevant organizations and stakeholders, further solidifying the purpose of the visit by exploring the global industrialization of Holistic Image and K-Beauty, particularly in the wedding industry.
